venturi-volage-electric-sports-carFirst of all it would be worth mentioning that Venturi is the company that created the world’s first electric sports car, known as Fetish. Recently the company has presented its new electric vehicle concept called Volage.

The new green vehicle was presented at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) 2010. The NAIAS is an auto show that takes place every year in Detroit, Michigan at Cobo Center.

The Venturi Volage is a sports car powered by electric batteries. The zero-emissions vehicle features eight in-wheel motors (each wheel includes two electric motors – one for propulsion and the other one for suspension).

Due to its innovative design, the car has a lower center of gravity, which increases its traction and thus considerably improves the maneuverability and general performance.
