The company claims that the charging station is able to recharge Nissan LEAF up to 80 percent in just about 30 minutes.
If the claims are true, then the charger will prove to be extremely useful for electric car drivers, especially considering that the LEAF can travel 160 kilometers on full charge and that in average a person drives less than 100 kilometers a day.
The company also mentioned that by using a regular 230V outlet, the driver will need about 8 hours to charge the car, while with TERRA some of the EVs could be fully charged in 15 minutes.
In addition, each charging station from Epyon can recharge several cars simultaneously. They are remotely maintained via the company’s web-based Power-Routing network. The program allows Epyon to keep track of its local power grid, billing, and battery life.
