T.25 City Car – More Efficiency and Safety, and Less Weight

A British car design company called Gordon Murray Design Limited, based in Shalford, recently unveiled its eco-friendly vehicle entitled T.25.

The presentation took place at Oxford University and was a part of the Smith School’s World Forum on Enterprise and the Environment.

The new vehicle is a huge step forward in the field of city car design, being extremely lightweight, efficient and safe. The 660cc three-cylinder engine installed in the rear registers 51bhp and 42lb.ft of torque. Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-Cell – All-Electric Supercar

Recently the famous carmaker Mercedes unveiled the images of its electric supercar prototype entitled Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-Cell.

This electric car is propelled by a series of motors powered by a battery. In addition, it boasts gull-wing doors and a unique paint job entitled Lumilectric Mango.

Zerotracer – Electric Superbike to Go Around the World in 80 Days

The Zerotracer is a nice concept designed by a Swiss group entitled Design Werk.

This electric motorcycle will be used to travel around the world in 80 days. It will take part in the forthcoming Zero Emission Race.

It is worth mentioning that the eco-friendly bike registers a top speed of 160mph and has a range of 280 miles on a single charge.

Electric Vehicle from Oman Travels 2,236 Miles Per Charge

An Oman-based company called Noor Majan has recently announced that it managed to build an electric vehicle with a record breaking range.

This is the first eco-friendly vehicle manufactured in the Middle East and according to its creators the car can travel a whooping 2,236 miles on a single charge. Toyota and Tesla Working on a New Electric Vehicle

First of all it would be worth mentioning that last month that Japanese car-making giant, Toyota, announced that it looks forward to invest $50 million in Tesla Motors.

The company also stated that it had a plan for Tesla to acquire the NUMMI (New United Motor Manufacturing) GM/Toyota plant located in Fremont, California.

Squalus EV – Eco-Friendly Car Powered by Electric and Hydrogen Engines

This futuristic eco-friendly vehicle was designed by Arturo Arino, a talented designer from Mexico.

He named his creation the Squalus. The vehicle represents a combination of luxury and green features.

Biway – All-Electric Transportation System that Mixes Bus and Train

In a world where air pollution is one of the main issues, designers and engineers are continuously looking for alternatives that could make our planet greener.

Aleshina Ekaterina and Kamyshev Vitaly are two industrial designers that came up with an idea for an eco-friendly transportation system that represents a fusion of bus and train transport.

According to the company’s representatives, Dynacar is able to reach the top speed of 140km/h in 10 seconds.

The Transcendence – Ultra-Green Luxury Yacht

Specialists from Suater Carbon Offset Design decided to create a yacht that would not only be about comfort, luxury and style, but also make use of green energy.

They came up with an eco-friendly 49-meter superyacht called the “Transdescendence.”
