An Oman-based company called Noor Majan has recently announced that it managed to build an electric vehicle with a record breaking range.
This is the first eco-friendly vehicle manufactured in the Middle East and according to its creators the car can travel a whooping 2,236 miles on a single charge. For comparison, the famous Tesla Roadster can travel 245 miles per charge.
The vehicle boasts a number of other impressive features like an 800hp engine, air conditioner that harnesses solar energy and acceleration from 0 to 60 in just 4 seconds. The driver can also benefit from massaging seats.
The Oman-based Noor Majan claims that its EV can go 21 years without maintenance. The cost of the car varies can vary from $70,000 to $91,000.
The company’s CEO, Sultan bin Hamad al-Amri, did not provide any information on how the unnamed vehicle will be able to reach such an incredible range. He also did not offer any image of the vehicle.
