If you think that the yellow cabs in the New York City should be replaced with something more contemporary then you will probably like the design of this futuristic taxi, dubbed the Unicab.

It is worth mentioning that the New York Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) for some time has been looking for a taxi that could be well called the cab of tomorrow.

So far it did not select the best concept, but it seems that the four-seater Unicab is one of the best candidates.

The electric taxi is equipped with a number of environmentally features – it can generate power using solar panels installed on the roof, brake energy conversion and hydrogen fuel cells; plus you will be able to recharge the onboard battery pack by simply plugging the electric car in the socket.

The body of this eco-friendly vehicle is made of strong steel. Its luggage compartment comfortably slides out. The car even has a wheelchair ramp.
