Specialists from Suater Carbon Offset Design decided to create a yacht that would not only be about comfort, luxury and style, but also make use of green energy.

They came up with an eco-friendly 49-meter superyacht called the “Transdescendence.”

It is worth mentioning that this is the first zero carbon yacht in the world, being able to reach a speed of 25 knots.

Due to a Mercedes Benz diesel powerplant attached to a generator, the Transdescendence can produce electricity to power the props.

A lithium-ion battery system can be recharged when connected to a grid at the dock. In addition, the yacht is equipped with a series of solar cells that harness solar energy on the move.

The Transdescendence can achieve between 50 and 100 percent reduction of green house gas emissions.
