A UK designer firm, called Pristmanngoode, came up with a design of a new-generation, luxurious eco-friendly high-speed bullet train, which might become the future of sustainable transport in Britain.

The train is entitled Mercury and its design pretty much resembles the Concord.

The double-decker train is 400 meters long and can reach a speed of 225mph. It also has one of the world’s longest nose sections.

It would be interesting to note that the sustainable train features a flexible, open plan design that ensures privacy and relaxation, while allowing passengers to interact with each other.

Inside one will be able to benefit from comfy commuter seats with built-in entertainment systems, private berths and play area for children. In addition, the train includes a luxury lounge and bar.

The most important step now is to convince the UK government to invest in this project, which could definitely become another technological British masterpiece.
