Renault DeZir – New All-Electric Supercar from the French Carmaker

The famous French car-making company Renault has recently presented the design of its new eco-friendly supercar. The new green vehicle, called DeZir, embodies Renault’s new slogan “Drive the Change.”

The futuristic concept boasts an average range of 100 miles on a single charge. The driver can also making use of the company’s Quick Drop system.

It is worth mentioning that the system makes it possible for the driver to change the battery fast, without having to wait till the old battery recharges.

The supercar has a 24 kilowatt-hour lithium ion battery pack. Its all-electric engine is the one Renault uses in its other eco-friendly vehicles.

Renault DeZir provides a faster driving experience due to the improved power and torque. It would be interesting to note that the body of the vehicle is made from the lightweight material Kevlar.

The car’s engine was placed in a special way to provide balanced weight distribution. This is the first project led by the French company’s new head of design, Laurens van den Acker.
