Soon we will be able to witness the appearance of an all-electric DeLorean – the same car used in the trilogy “Back to the Future”.

The Wired Italy Features Editor Massimiliano Ferramondo said that the eco-friendly vehicle will be completed in about a week.

However, he mentioned that to create an electric DeLorean was not an easy task.

During the manufacturing process engineers gathered up a 90kW engine and Lithium-ion batteries that were made in a way to be able to fit into the vehicle.

So far there has been no information on the car’s power and the exact range that the electric DeLorean will be able to register on a single charge.

It was mention, though, that the car will hit the streets being driven by Ferramondo, who will travel from Milan to Rome. He estimated that the vehicle will be able to cross between 125 and 135 miles per charge.
