The famous German car manufacturer Porsche decided to unveil its new 2012 Panamera S Hybrid.

The presentation took place before the opening of the Geneva Auto Show.

It is worth mentioning that according to Porsche its new eco-friendly vehicle will register 34.5 miles per gallon.

The figure is rather impressive especially considering the fact that Porsche Panamera S Hybrid generates 380 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 60mph in 5.7 seconds. It can also reach a top speed of 167mph.

This vehicle is definitely the most fuel efficient model from the German company. One fact, though does not really impress, i.e. the car can run for about a mile in purely electric mode.

Inside you will be ale to find the same gasoline engine/electric motor combination that is installed on the Cayenne S Hybrid. The Panamera S Hybrid also boasts a regenerative braking system.

The vehicle will go on sale in the United States later this year and will have a price tag of $95,000 (excluding destination).
