March 1 is the day when the Geneva Motor Show will open its doors for all those passionate about vehicles. This is when guests will be able to witness the presentation of the first electric vehicle from Rolls-Royce.
It is expected to go on a tour around the world and be presented in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America.
“With this vehicle, we begin an exploration into alternative drive-trains, seeking clarity on which alternative technologies may be suitable to drive Rolls-Royce motor cars of the future,” said Torsten Muller-Otvos, CEO at Goodwood, a firm based in England.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars mentioned that its current goal is to see opinions and feedbacks from owners, public and the media.
Although the company does not plan to create a production version of its electric car, the latter will be used to launch a discussion with existing owners and stakeholders. The discussion will include the vehicle’s ability to deliver a reasonable range between re-charges as well as operation in extreme weather conditions.
So far the car’s full specifications are kept secret until the opening of the auto show.
