Statistical data shows that about 60 percent of people in the UK travel alone, which means that a large amount of greenhouse gasses is emitted into the air and there’s little chance to avoid traffic jams.

To be able to solve the problem, a designer came up with this original three-wheeled concept vehicle.

Geely Presents Compact Solar Hybrid Vehicle at Beijing Auto Show

Visitors of the Beijing Auto Show were able to witness the presentation of the new eco-friendly vehicle from Geely. The IG model has its hood covered with solar panels.

The compact car also boasts a hybrid power train to provide a fuel-efficient driving.

So far the company did not provide any information on when it will start the mass production of its new vehicle.

AERO – Eco-friendly Concept Car that Harnesses Wind and Solar Energy

Both, the design and functional features of the mid-engine rear wheel drive electric car were also influenced by the contemporary aspects one can find in Formula 1 cars. (Expedition Vehicle Concept) represents a multifunctional eco-friendly car that the driver can configure. The vehicle can be changed from a camping model to an open top boulevard car.

Rural Concept Runs on Hydrogen and Solar Power

Its chassis is made of carbon fiber. The Rural Vehicle features adaptable solar cells that the driver can rotate to harness maximum solar energy by tracking the sun. Solar-powered MINILUX Vehicle for Leisure Purposes

The concept was designed by Jukka Rautiainen and its key feature is the ability to harvest solar energy by using high-efficiency photovoltaic panels. The driver can pug the vehicle in to a domestic or public access point, thus providing two ways of charging the batteries.
