BMW Megacity Vehicle – the Company’s First Electric Car

The first electric vehicle from the German car-making giant BMW is expected to be launched in 2013.

The company’s eco-friendly car is called Megacity Vehicle. It is manufactured using such lightweight materials like carbon fiber and aluminum.

The car will be built from ground using BMW’s own “LifeDrive structure,” which is believed to have the strength of steel while being 50 percent lighter than standard aluminum.
