2010 Tesla Roadster
Made by Tesla Motors, a Silicon Valley-based car-maker, the Tesla Roadster was for the first time presented as a prototype in July of 2006. Two years later the company announced that it will start a mass production of the vehicle. The Roadster became the world’s first all-electric, mass-produced sports vehicle.
One of the most impressive features of the car is the range. As one of the best electric vehicles the Tesla Roadster boasts a range of 220 miles on a single charge.
The 288hp engine allows the electric vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed to 125mph. The expected battery life is 7 years or 100,000 miles. Other interesting features include carbon fiber body and LED tail lights.
