General Motors Works on Compact EV that Can Communicate with Other Cars

General Motors is working on a two-seat eco-friendly vehicle that would suit people who are not fond of car-stuffed cities.

Due to the car’s compact size it can easily fit in narrow traffic spaces. GM named its new vehicle EN-V (also called “envy”). In fact the three letters in the name stand for Electric Networked Vehicle.

GM Unveils Specs on Volt Minivan

The new minivan from GM has a propulsion system that can be found inside the company’s other vehicle from the same family – the Chevy Volt.

This system receives power from a 16 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.

EN-V – New Electric Vehicle from General Motors

Recently General Motors unveiled its new concept car which has the potential of becoming one of the company’s most popular models since Chevrolet Volt.

Dubbed EN-V, the eco-friendly vehicle with built-in lithium-ion battery was developed in collaboration with SAIC.

It is powered by a 3KW electric motor and can reach a top speed of 25mph, being able to travel on full charge 25 miles.
